Your spine is made up of vertebrae which form a movable column that houses and protects your spinal cord. The cord, in turn, branches into many nerves that send messages from all over your body to your brain. Distortion in the spine can cause disruption to these messages which usually results in pain, stiffness, discomfort, tiredness, and even headaches.
Spinal distortion is due mainly to accidents, poor lifting, falls, stress, repetitive strain, bad posture and many other causes. These may affect the pelvis, the foundation on which the spine rests.
